This is an exciting time to be a Republican Woman! The 2008 Presidential campaigns have already begun. Our Founders paid a price with “their lives, their liberty and their sacred honor”. Where do you stand on the issues? Thomas Jefferson said that the “price of liberty is eternal vigilance”. Becoming well informed about the issues that threaten our liberty enables us to have a position based on sound reasoning in order to better guard these freedoms that so many have sacrificed to protect throughout our history. We must be ever watchful to the threats, regardless of how sublte or well-intended, that would erode our national identity and extinguish the lamp of liberty. Please join us: 11:30 am networking The power of our Republic is on the local level with “We the People”. As an American, it is not enough to just show up and vote on Election Day, it is vital that we learn and educate ourselves to the issues and how they align to the United States Constitution. As with every election since the 1700’s, we face new and recurring dilemmas. In our democratic-republic form of government, we own the responsibility of running the country. We must strengthen our individual votes by standing together with others of like minds who love this country. Suzi Voyles, |
